Pharmacological action

This product and pyrophosphoric acid combined into thiamine diphosphate(cocarboxylase), participate the oxidative decarboxylation reaction of pyruvic acid andα- oxoglutarate in the glycometabolism,it’s necessary for glycometabolism. Vitamin B1 plays an important role in the normal function of nervous tissue,heart and digestive system. Deficiency, pyruvic acid and lactic acid in blood increase,affect the organism energy supply;poultry and young stock appear polyneuritis, myocardial dysfunction, dyspepsia and inhibited growth.

Transferred by blood combine with carrier protein in tissue.Normally the high concentration in tissue of the vigorous metabolism organ such as liver,kidney,heart,brian,but the high contents in muscular tissue of pig.

Drug interactions

1.Vitamin B1 degradation easily in alkaline solution, combined with alkaline drug such as sodium bicarbonate, sodium citrate, easy-deteriorating.

2.The pyrithiamine, amprolium have antagonism on vitamin B1.

3.This product can enhance the effect of the neuromuscular blocking agent.

Indications:

Used to treat the vitamin B1 deficiency,such as polyneuritis, ataxia, tic,also used to treat gastrointestinal atony,and hyperpyrexia, severe impairment and adjuvant therapy of the cattle ketonemia, myocarditis.

Usage and Dosage:

subcutaneous injection, intramuscular injection:for one time,horse,cattle 4-20ml;sheep,pig 1-2ml;dog 0.4-1ml;cat 0.2-0.6ml

Adverse reaction:

According to the recommended dose, there is no adverse reactions.

Precautions:

1.When injection appear anaphylaxis even shock.

2. The pyrithiamine, amprolium have antagonism on vitamin B1,Add this kind material in feed can cause vitamin B1 deficiency.

3.Used with other B-group vitamin or vitamin C have comprehensive effectiveness on metabolism.
